Investors in both the public and private sectors face challenges in allocating resources to actions that address soil carbon. The interface between policy and science is one high-stake issue that may be heating up debate but slowing progress. This forum will bring together current and potential investors in soil carbon to develop a prioritised set of original questions from decision-makers to science. These questions will inform a scientific project in 2018 to provide answers and to communicate effectively back to decision-makers.
The event is hosted by the Hoffmann Centre for Sustainable Resource Economy, The Nature Conservancy, Cornell University and the “4 per 1000” Initiative.
Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
To enable as open a debate as possible, this event will be held under the Chatham House Rule.
